Fitted nappies are made entirely of absorbant materials. These require the use of a seperate waterproof or water resistant cover.
Fitted Nappies normally fasten with hook n loop, velcro or some require the use of nappy grips (stretchy clips.)
I personally found these brilliant on young babies.
Pros:
Very absorbant, very few leaks when using fitted nappies.
Soft and user friendly.
Can absorb a large amount of fluid meaning they are great for night use.
Cover can be reused if not soiled. Only fitted nappy needs to be changed.
Depending on your preferences you don't require alot of covers.
Cost effective
Cons:
Can take a long time to dry being all layers sewn together.
Two seperate items to put on baby.
Two seperate items to wash and dry.
